Car Thief Arrested After Brief Struggle: North Haven Police

Police responded to several reports of thefts from vehicles over the weekend.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A North Haven man was caught driving a car stolen out of New Haven and was arrested after a brief struggle with officers, according to police.

Kiel Loricco, 29, was charged with third-degree larceny, criminal impersonation and interfering with police. Loricco was held on a $20,000 bond. To sign up for North Haven breaking news alerts and more, click here.

Over the weekend, police also responded to thefts from vehicles on Washington Avenue, Sackett Point Road, Universal Drive, Randall Drive, Robin Court and Hartley Street. One vehicle was stolen from Bassett Road and later recovered in North Haven, according to police.
