Gone In 45 Minutes: Family's Christmas Gifts Stolen (UPDATE)
A North Haven man says he was out of his house for only 45 minutes and returned home to find it was burglarized.

UPDATE:
Thomas Crisanti, the victim of Wednesday’s burglary where all of his family’s Christmas gifts were stolen, told NBC Connecticut that he had been gone from his house for only 45 minutes before returning home to find broken glass by the back door.
Among the items stolen were a new laptop and two hoverboards he bought for his sons.

Crisanti told NBC he is offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who can help lead to an arrest of the person responsible.

A North Haven resident returned home to find that his house had been broken into and all of his family’s Christmas gifts were gone, according to North Haven Police.
Police said a Bassett Road home was broken into between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23.
When the homeowner arrived, he found a broken window and all of his family’s Christmas gifts gone. Along with the gifts, a Smith and Wesson handgun was taken from the home, according to police.
Anyone who has information regarding this incident, or witnessed something suspicious during that time near Bassett Road, is asked to the North Haven Police Department’s Investigative Services Division at 203-239-5321.
