Construction on I-91 Planned for Summer
North Haven portion of the highway will be resurfaced by Department of Transportation.

The section of I-91 running from New Haven to just north of the Montowese Avenue overpass in North Haven will be refurbished by the CT Department of Transportation (CTDOT) beginning in the summer of 2012.
According to a release issued yesterday by CTDOT, the work will involve the laying of an asphalt overlay over the portion of highway for the purposes of pavement preservation.
The Department does not expect to hold a public session in town to discuss the project, although it welcomes residents to share concerns before paving is underway.
