Police Update On Search For Missing Person In North Haven
Emergency crews were actively searching for a person on Wednesday morning after yesterday's flooding in the area.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — In an update around 1 p.m., North Haven Police have provided more information about the search for a missing person on Wednesday morning. A source reported a suspected homeless man was camping several miles into the woods off of Banton Street, according to police. The man was last seen about two weeks ago.
“Due to the flooding in the area, first responders attempted to look for the man, but he was not located,” police said. “We would like to thank the NoHFD for utilizing off road vehicles, DEEP for assistance with mapping, and the Guilford Fire Department for responding with a drone.”

The North Haven fire and police departments are currently conducting a search for a missing person in the area of Banton Street due to the flooding of the Quinnipiac River, the fire department wrote in a post on Twitter.
