DNA Evidence Leads to Burglary Arrest: North Haven Police
The man was charged in connection to a burglary in which several thousand dollars' worth of equipment was stolen from a residential garage.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven Police say DNA evidence left at the scene of a summertime residential burglary led to the arrest of a New Haven man.
Two men broke into an attached garage of a Montowese Avenue home in June and stole several thousand dollars’ worth of equipment, according to police.
As police arrived, both men fled the area and avoided apprehension. One of the individuals located a pickup truck that was parked, running, in the driveway of a nearby neighbor. He took the truck and fled North Haven, according to police.

Detectives processed the scene and captured DNA evidence that was instrumental in identifying the suspects, police said.
Investigators obtained two arrest warrants for the suspects.

On Jan. 19, detectives arrested Noel Figueroa, 20, of New Haven on charges of third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary. Figueroa was arraigned in Meriden Superior Court.
