Gateway Community College (GCC) will host a workshop about Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias on Thursday, Oct. 21, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in room 160 at its Long Wharf campus, 60 Sargent Drive.
Maria Tomasetti, regional director of the Alzheimer's Association's Connecticut chapter, will discuss "What You Need to Know About Alzheimer's Disease & Related Dementias: Reducing Risk, Warning Signs, Stages, Treatment, Research & Hope."
