The Quinnipiac Valley Audubon Society, the local chapter of the National Audubon Society, operates Riverbound Farm Sanctuary, 1881 Cheshire St in Cheshire. Our August program is Butterflies! with Corrie (203-630-9640), Sunday, August 21, 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (Rain Date: Aug 28th ). This is the last summer program by Corrie. Over 100 butterfly species can be found in CT. Discover which species call Riverbound Farm home. We'll go on a butterfly hunt and learn to identify them and the food plants on which they depend. All ages welcome: bring butterfly nets if you have them. Please call Loretta at 203-634-1911 for more information.  The events are free, however, donations are accepted.  The Nature Center is open from 11:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
