
NORTH HAVEN, CT — Officers arrested a New York State resident after he fraudulently cashed a $5,500 check in North Haven, according to police.
A New York State resident reported his identity was stolen and his bank account compromised. A suspect cashed several checks throughout Connecticut.
Police arrested James Braxton and charged him with third-degree larceny, identity theft, criminal impersonation and first-degree forgery.
