Great Escape: Dino’s Cruise Night

When you think of cruise nights, do you automatically hear revving car engines and oldies music? Do you like checking out antique vehicles? Maybe you have a vintage automobile yourself. If you or someone in your family is into cruising and car shows, then there’s a good chance that you know all about summer cruise nights at Dino’s Seafood.

For this week’s Great Escape, take a trip back to a time when cruising, drive-in movies, and soda shops were the “in” things to do on the weekend. Maybe those days feel just like yesterday to you, or maybe you’re too young to remember them. Either way, most people feel a sense of nostalgia when they take part in leisure activities from a simpler time.

On Sunday, August 14, from 4:00-8:00pm, Dino’s Seafood will host its next Cruise Night, with a DJ and other live entertainment. If you can’t make it, the next one will be on Sunday, August 28.

Dino’s has been around since 1967 and is known by most local residents for having the best seafood in the area. The menu is a mile long, or so it seems, and there’s something for everyone. It's worth bringing the kids along, since Dino's has great deals that include online coupons and other offers.
