“We are so excited to expand our footprint in New Haven County – where Haven Hot Chicken was born,” Haven Hot Chicken co-founder Etkin Tekin said in the news release. “This location offers such easy access off of I-91 in an area where so many of our loyal guests are often out running errands, or heading to or from work, offering a quick stop for lunch, dinner or a snack. As we look to now have four locations up and running in early 2023, our entire team is grateful for the continued support of our ‘fuego fam’ community.”

The North Haven location will offer online order with curbside takeout and UberEats delivery, as well as “limited seating for quick, in-house dining,” according to the news release. “It will also be a part of the brand’s long-term partnership with Connecticut Foodshare, raising crucial funds to help curb food insecurity in the state of Connecticut through ‘The Great Banana Pudding Drive,’ donating $1 from the sale of each banana pudding to the organization.”

The restaurant’s signature item was voted “Best Chicken Sandwich” in Connecticut Magazine’s annual Readers Poll in 2021, according to the news release.
