National Home Décor Retailer Sets Opening Date In North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — At Home, a national home décor retailer, will open in North Haven next week, according to First Selectman Michael Freda.

“I am pleased to announce that after over two years in planning and bringing this At Home project to North Haven, this home decor superstore will be opening on July 27th,” Freda wrote in a post on Facebook. “This store will be only the second At Home Store in our state and will feature 80,000 square feet of items including Furniture, Decor and Pillows, Rugs and Curtains, Kitchen and Dining, Bed and Bath, Storage and Cleaning, Outdoor items and Seasonal items and gifts. I hope that you enjoy shopping at our new At Home location on Universal Drive.”

Freda announced last July that the Texas-based retailer would be coming to North Haven.

At Home is located in the former Toys R Us/ Babies R Us and Ulta space in the shopping plaza with Best Buy on Universal Drive.

At Home has 225 stores nationally and only one other Connecticut location in Manchester.
