2 State Troopers, Female Suspect Hospitalized After Pursuit Ends In Crash On I-91: UPDATE
State Police said the suspect is in custody. BREAKING

UPDATE: State Police said two troopers and the arrested female have been transported to the hospital for the evaluation of minor injuries. The right lane remains closed.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — State Police say the Interstate 91 was closed after a suspect engaged police in pursuit, which led to a crash and two police vehicles being struck.
"Highway (was) closed, left lane should be opening soon," State Police said. The accident occurred on I-91 northbound Exit 11.

The crash resulted in a minor injury and a downed light pole. Reduce speed approaching area, State Police said.
The accident originated from a pursuit that started at Exit 3. The female suspect is in custody after crashing, State Police said.

"Reported that the suspect sideswiped and struck at least two police vehicles (one being CSP, not sure of the other PD yet)," State Police said.
