Man, 19, Charged In 8 Burglaries In North Haven: Police
Police said the man is part of a burglary crew that has been using stolen motor vehicles to commit burglaries across the state.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A 19-year-old Derby resident has been arrested in connection with eight burglaries in North Haven since the beginning of the year, according to police.
Police said Collin Howard was part of a burglary crew that committed crimes throughout the state using stolen motor vehicles that were often obtained by breaking into car dealerships.
“After obtaining the stolen vehicle, Howard and others would burglarize local businesses, targeting ATMs, safes, cash registers, and other merchandise,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Detectives, in collaboration with other police agencies, conducted a thorough investigation ultimately leading to securing eight arrest warrants for Howard.”

Police said another member of the burglary crew, Quadele Vickers, was previously arrested in August in connection with the crimes.
The burglaries remain under investigation, according to police.

Howard was charged with multiple offenses of burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal mischief, and larceny, according to police.
Howard was held in lieu of bonds totaling $525,000.
