Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges: North Haven Police
Police say the man was arrested following a lengthy child pornography investigation.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A North Haven man has been arrested on child pornography charges following a lengthy investigation, according to police. Paul Ciccarelli, 49, was arrested Friday as a result of an investigation that began in 2017 when police were inside Ciccarelli’s Ansonia Drive home on an unrelated matter and observed an image on an open laptop computer, according to police.
Police said the image appeared to be child pornography. The computer was seized and analyzed. Detectives determined there were 47 images of child pornography on the computer, according to police.
Ciccarelli was charged with importing child pornography and possession of child pornography. He was held on a $150,000 bond.
