Man Breaks Into Home, Found Hiding By K-9 Taro: North Haven PD

Two women called 911 after finding a man standing in their living room late Tuesday night, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A man accused of breaking into a North Haven home late Tuesday night was found hiding in the woods by K-9 Taro, according to police.

Two women called 911 around 11:30 p.m. to report a man broke into their home on Centerbrook Road. Both women told police they heard a loud noise and then saw a man standing in their living room. They locked themselves in a bedroom and called police.

As police were responding, the man ran out the front door into the woods. Officer Marcus Artaiz and K-9 partner Taro arrived and began searching for the suspect, according to police.

Police said Taro found the suspect trying to hide a short distance away.

Patrick Frawley, 29, was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and criminal mischief. He was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
