NORTH HAVEN, CT — A man has been arrested in connection with a home burglary late last year in North Haven, according to police.

Robert Picagli, 56, is accused of breaking into a home on upper State Street in late December. He was identified as the suspect through forensic testing of physical evidence that was found at the scene, according to police.

Picagli was arrested on a warrant Sept. 11 while he was incarcerated for unrelated charges, police said. He was charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree larceny.
