Man Charged In Armed Robbery At Gas Station In North Haven: Police

The man is the second person to be arrested in connection with the gunpoint robbery, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A second person has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a gas station in North Haven earlier this year, according to police.

Police said the gunpoint robbery took place Jan. 14 at a gas station on Washington Avenue in North Haven.

Andre De Paula, 21, was arrested Monday and charged with first-degree robbery with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery with a deadly weapon.

De Paula, who was being held on unrelated charges, was held in lieu of a $500,000 bond in connection with the North Haven robbery, according to police.

A 17-year-old Massachusetts resident was arrested last week in connection with the robbery.
