Man Charged with Displaying Gun from Vehicle: North Haven Police

A North Haven resident was arrested late Friday night in connection to the incident: BREAKING

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A 25-year-old North Haven resident was arrested late Friday night for displaying a handgun from a motor vehicle, according to police.

North Haven Police responded to the area of Hartford Turnpike and Bishop Street just before midnight on July 29 on the report of someone displaying a gun from a motor vehicle.

Police said the investigation led to the arrest of Eric Hewitt, 25, of North Haven.

Hewitt was charged with first-degree threatening, a weapon in a motor vehicle, carrying a pistol without a permit, and second-degree breach of peace.

Hewitt was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
