Men Charged in Connection to North Haven Burglaries: Police

The suspects were arrested for their involvement with two residential burglaries and one man is also charged with stealing credit cards: PD.

NORTH HAVEN, CT— Two men have been charged in connection several burglaries that occurred in 2016, according to North Haven Police.

Angel Cortes, 24, of North Haven, and Noel Figueroa, 20, of New Haven, were arrested on warrants late last week and charged with a host of larceny and burglary-related crimes, according to police.

Police said Cortes was responsible for a July 2016 burglary to a North Hill Road home where several thousand dollars’ worth of equipment was taken. He was also charged with a vehicle burglary that occurred in August 2016 where credit cards were taken from a car and fraudulently used in several locations throughout New Haven County, according to police.

Figueroa was charged for his participation in a June 2016 burglary to a Montowese Avenue home where he broke into an attached garage and attempted to take automotive equipment, according to police.

Police said he fled the area as officers arrived, but was linked to the crime by physical evidence detectives located inside of the garage.
