Missing Man, 30, Found Dead In North Haven: Report

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A missing 30-year-old East Haven man has been found dead in North Haven, according to several media reports including the New Haven Register.

The man's car was located Saturday night in the parking lot for Pete's Rock Park on Middletown Avenue, the Register reports. The man's body was found in a secluded part of the park on Sunday.

Crews spent several hours searching for the man Saturday night, who was reported missing by his family, Fox 61 reports. East Haven and North Haven police departments along with the Connecticut State Police assisted in the search efforts.

The cause of death will be confirmed by the Chief Medical Examiner's Office. The man's name has not been released.
