'New Hot Tub' Will Be First Purchase For $250K Lottery Winner

DURHAM, CT — Earlier this week news surfaced that a North Haven resident purchased a winning $250,000 Powerball ticket from S And F Grocers LLC in Durham.

The winning Powerball numbers drawn on February 6 were 5 - 13 - 28 - 38 - 63 and Powerball 21. The Power Play® number was 5.

Kristopher’s Powerball “Quick Pick” ticket matched four of the first five numbers drawn, plus the Powerball. Because Kris also purchased the Power Play® option, his $50,000 prize was multiplied to $250,000.

“We’re going to invest the majority of [the prize] for our future, but first things first, we need a new hot tub!," Kristopher Brooks said.
