North Haven Man Assaults Woman At Business: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — Police say a North Haven man is accused of assaulting a woman at a Milford business. On Aug. 8, police responded to a New Haven Avenue business on a report of a possible domestic violence incident, police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Salmon Jaser, 42, of Patten Road in North Haven, who is accused of striking a female with closed fists multiple times in the head and face, police said. When the female attempted to dial 911 Jaser took the phone from her and left the business, police said. Jaser was located a short time later by police. He is charged with violation of a protective order, third-degree assault, and interrupting an emergency call. He was given a $5,000 bond.
