North Haven Man Charged with Burglary as Fairfield Police Investigate Attempted Break-In: Report

FAIRFIELD, CT — A North Haven man was charged with prior burglaries in Fairfield as police were investigating at attempted break-in of an Old Oaks Road home early Monday morning, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports Shawn R. Hammond, 20, was stopped by police while he was walking near North Avenue in Bridgeport around 5 a.m. and while officers didn’t find a connection between him and the attempted break-in, he was served with an outstanding arrest warrant.
