North Haven Man Found Slumped Over In Car, Charged: Orange PD

Police responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint at Kohl's.

ORANGE, CT — A North Haven man is accused of possessing controlled substances, Orange Police say. On Feb. 3 at 7:10 p.m. police responded to Kohl's at 250 Bull Hill Lane on a report of a suspicious vehicle, police said.

Upon arrival, Officers observed Matthew S. Lipowski, 31, of North Haven, slumped over in his vehicle, police said. He woke up when officers entered the vehicle to check on him, police said. Two different types of controlled substances were located in plainview in Lipowski’s vehicle, police said.

Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with two counts of possession of controlled substances.
