North Haven Students Honored by Daughters of the American Revolution
Local DAR Mary Clap Wooster Chapter recognizes students who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.
The Mary Clap Wooster Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution [NSDAR] based in New Haven recently honored and rewarded area students chosen by their respective schools who consistently demonstrate good citizenship, leadership, service, and patriotism to an outstanding degree. Each high school senior received a Good Citizens certificate, pin and a $500 scholarship check, and each eighth-grade student received a Youth Citizenship certificate, medal, booklet on the U.S. Constitution, and a check for $50.
