Anna M. Franco Marra, 93, of Kennebunk, ME, formerly of West Haven, CT, North Haven, CT and Marco Island, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Huntington Common, Kennebunk, ME. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank T. Marra.

Anna was born in Hamden on June 18, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Carlo and Pasqualina Riccio Franco. She served her country faithfully in the U.S. Army during WW II. Anna had worked as a secretary for the West Haven School System at Seth Haley, Alma Pagels, Colonial Park, and West Haven High School. Mother of Barbara Marra Walton and Richard Marra and his wife Linda. Grandmother of Jamia Gaffney and her husband Kevin Groskopf, Jennifer and Jessica Marra. Great-Grandmother of Jace Groskopf. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her siblings, Dominic, Anthony and Pasquale Franco, Phyllis Sternchak, Rita Mantovani, Mary Barretta and Jenny Powell.
