Obituary: Edward A. Bruneau Jr., 32, of North Haven

He was a 2000 graduate of Vinal Tech High School of Middletown, and was currently employed as a truck driver in Dallas, Texas.

Edward A. Bruneau, Jr., 32, of North Haven, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 while working in Eaton, Ohio. Ed was born in New Haven on November 13, 1984, a son of Edward A. Bruneau, Sr. of North Haven and Pamela Ryan of New Haven, and had lived in North Haven for most of his life.

He was a 2000 graduate of Vinal Tech High School of Middletown, and was currently employed as a truck driver for Stevens Transport of Dallas, TX. He had previously worked as a carpenter for several area contractors.

Ed is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Louise Bruneau of Derby, two sisters, Heather Russell and Shawnna Jacobs of Branford, aunts and uncles Diane and Tony Steffieri of Derby, Virgina and Gary Dougan, and Arthur and Shelly Bruneau of Wallingford, Paul and Janice Bruneau of North Haven, and Thomas and Cheryl Bruneau of Pulaski, NY, and many loving cousins. He was predeceased by his aunt Denise Tucker.

Ed's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, June 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
