Obituary: Francis 'Frank' L. Gybowski, 87, of North Haven
Frank fought for his country in the U.S. Marine Corps on the front lines in Korea. He was an engineer and computer programmer.

Francis “Frank” L. Gybowski, 87, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 18, 2018 at his home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was the beloved husband and soul mate of 60 years to Elizabeth Janisevicus Gybowski. Frank was born in New Haven on September 19, 1930 and was the son of the late Frank and Estelle Konesky Gybowski.
He was an engineer and computer programmer receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Fairfield University and a double Master degree in both physics and chemistry from Renselaer Polytechnic Institute. Frank fought for his country in the US Marine Corps on the front lines in Korea. He was proud of his rank as Sergeant Gybowski.

Frank was an active member of the North Haven Senior Center, starring in a production of Sugar Babies and leading EZ exercise classes. He was predeceased by his brother Peter Gybowski. A “Special Thank You” to Dr. Bjorn Ringstad and Dr. Sanjay Rathi for their kindness, interest and patience. Also, much gratitude to his earth angels, Nam Tran, Bruce Williams, Alyce Palmisano and Nabi.
