Gary M. Heffernan, 65, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Masonicare with his beloved wife and dear friends at his side.

Gary was the beloved husband of Susan M. Guckert. He was born in New Haven on February 15, 1952 and was the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Lassen Heffernan. He had worked for SNET/Cox Communications for many years until his retirement. Father of Sarah (William) Lundell and Rachel (Ronald) Cislo. Grandfather of Katelyn Cislo and Liam, Keira and Ella Lundell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Haven, 89 Mill Road, North Haven, CT 06473. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements.
