Marianna Civitillo Komanetsky, 40, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 12 years to Christopher M. Komanetsky.

Marianna was born in New Haven on June 9, 1977 and was the daughter of Italo Civitillo and the late Libera Gallinalla Civitillo. She was a graduate of Quinnipiac University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree and worked for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Marianna enjoyed photography and scrapbooking as hobbies. Mother of Dimitry, Italo, Dante and Lucia. Sister of Cristofaro Civitillo and sister-in-law to his wife Shelley. Daughter-in-law of Diana and Peter Albertelli. Sister-in-law of Kevin and Jen Komanetsky; Jeffrey and JoEllen Komanetsky. Aunt of Libera, Mia and Ava Civitillo; Ella, Maddie, Jack, Ruby and Anna Komanetsky. Also survived by a number of close friends and family members.
