Ralph M. Chieffo Jr., 91, of North Haven, beloved husband of Jeanne (Menchetti) Chieffo, died on Friday September 7, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was born in West Haven, CT, December 16, 1926, son of Ralph and Melanie Chieffo and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Ralph worked as a tailor for 52 years at J. Press of New Haven. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, watching his grandchildren grow and good Italian cuisine. He is survived by his three sons, Ralph Chieffo III of Guilford, Ronald (Margie) Chieffo of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Reid (Tracey) Chieffo of North Haven; his nine grandchildren, Jacob Chieffo, Langdon Chieffo, Veronica Russ, Chris Chieffo, Ryan Chieffo, Katie Chieffo, Trey Chieffo, Marcel Chieffo, and Xavier Chieffo; his great grandchildren Gareth Chieffo and Alec Chieffo; his brothers, Edward (Madeline) Chieffo , Anthony Chieffo and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sisters Patricia Follo and Clara Vigliotti.
