Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle In North Haven: Police
The accident occurred early Wednesday morning.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in the area of Quinnipiac Avenue and Middletown Avenue in North Haven, according to police.
Police said the pedestrian was struck at about 6:15 a.m. Police are also advising motorists of delays in the area throughout the morning as the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit investigates the accident.
The victim is a 60-year-old man from New Haven who exited a city bus on Quinnipiac Avenue near Cindy Lane, according to police. The man’s identity will be released after his family is notified, police said.

Police said the man was crossing the street on his way to work when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling south on Quinnipiac Avenue. He was pronounced deceased on scene. The operator of the vehicle stayed on the scene and is cooperating with police.
