Pedestrian Dies In Hit-And-Run Crash: North Haven Police (UPDATE)

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A 57-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident Monday evening in North Haven, police said in an update. The victim was walking on the side of the road in the 500 block of Ridge Road when she was struck by a motorist who fled the scene, according to police.

(Original post) NORTH HAVEN, CT — A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Monday in North Haven, according to fire officials. Emergency crews responded to the scene at the intersection of Ridge Road and Sunset Road. Fire officials say serious injuries are reported.

North Haven Police are advising motorists of road closures, as of 6:30 p.m., in the area of Ridge Road at Dixwell Avenue and Ridge Road at Sunset.
