Rash of Car Burglaries, Stolen Vehicles Reported in North Haven: Police
Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven Police are reminding residents to lock their car doors — and don’t leave the keys inside the vehicle — after a rash of car burglaries and stolen motor vehicle complaints have been received in November.
The vast majority of victims had left their vehicles unlocked, according to police.
“Some of the victims also left the vehicle key inside of the parked cars overnight,” police said in a press release. “The Police Department encourages our residents to lock your vehicles and remove all valuables including the vehicle keys while parked to help deter these crimes of opportunity.”
