Student Arrested For Threatening Post On Social Media: Police
The student was arrested for a threatening post on social media about the school that North Haven Police say wasn't credible.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A North Haven High School student has been arrested for a post on social media regarding “shooting up” the school, according to police. The post was made 30 days ago but was just found recently, police said.
“The North Haven Police Department High School Resource Officer was collaborating with the school district’s IT Manager recently regarding a harassment investigation,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “During this investigation, a threat to school safety was identified. A juvenile who attends the North Haven High School posted on a social media platform a statement regarding ‘shooting up’ the school. This post was made 30 days ago, but was found recently.
“The juvenile has been identified, and arrested. The investigation revealed the juvenile has no access to firearms, and there is no threat to the school.”
