Unlocked Car Stolen Out Of Driveway In North Haven: Police

Police say the car was recovered in Waterbury and two people have been arrested.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — An unlocked vehicle stolen from a driveway in North Haven Wednesday night was recovered in Waterbury on Thursday and two suspects have been arrested, according to North Haven Police.

Police say the vehicle was stolen out of the driveway of a Windsor Road home at about 9:30 p.m. The owner told police the car was unlocked and the keys were inside. The car was recovered in Waterbury and two people are in custody and being charged with larceny, according to police.

“No other thefts were reported in the area,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “We encourage all residents to join the #9PMROUTINE to protect their valuables.”
