UPS Driver Stole Packages From Delivery Customers: North Haven PD
BREAKING: Police say the accused had been hired just two days before the thefts occurred.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police say a UPS driver is accused of swiping a package from a local resident and has been arrested. At 1:30 p.m. on Monday a Giles Avenue resident reported witnessing a theft from her mailbox, police said.
The victim was looking out her front window in anticipation of a delivery. She observed a UPS employee, later identified as Quintell Suggs, 26, approach her mailbox holding a package, police said.
Suggs placed the package in the mailbox, but removed another package and opened it, police said. The victim witnessed Suggs take a video game from the box, and conceal it under his shirt, police said. She approached Suggs who denied the theft occurred, police said.

The recipient of the package reported a $150 BOSE speaker was stolen from his desk, police said. Investigators located the speaker in the glove compartment of the UPS truck, police said. Police also learned there was an outstanding arrest warrant for Suggs who had failed to appear in court for a motor vehicle violation. Suggs was a temporary holiday employee, police said. He was hired two days prior to the thefts, police said.
