NORTH HAVEN, CT — A vehicle fire has closed I-91 North between Exits 12 and 13 in North Haven, according to state transportation officials.

Crews from the North Haven Fire Department are at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the area of Exit 11 with “serious injuries,” according to officials.

“One electric car involved and on fire,” according to a post on the North Haven Fire Department's Facebook page. “Expect delays for several hours, seek alternate route.”
