Victim Identified In Fatal Crash In North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police have identified the victim in yesterday’s fatal crash on Middletown Avenue as John Angeloni, 26, of North Haven. At about 11 a.m. on Sept. 3, North Haven Police responded to a fatal one-car accident on Middletown Avenue (State Route 17) just south of the Montowese Avenue intersection.

Police said one vehicle, travelling northbound on Middletown Avenue, left the roadway, rolled over and crashed into a utility pole on the west side of the roadway. Members of the South Central Connecticut Regional Traffic Unit are assisting in the investigation.
