Woman Killed In North Haven Fire: Report

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A woman was killed in a house fire in North Haven Saturday night, according to a report in NBC Connecticut.

Fire authorities received a call reporting heavy smoke at a house on the corner of Ridge Road and Cooper Road around 10:34 p.m. Firefighters encountered heavy smoke in the rear of the house and located the female victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
