2 Minors Stabbed At Oyster Festival In Norwalk, 3rd In Custody

A boy was arrested following the stabbings and charged with first- and second-degree assault, according to Norwalk police.

NORWALK, CT — Two minors were stabbed Friday at the Oyster Festival in Norwalk, according to police. A third is facing charges in connection with the incident.

Norwalk police were called to the festival grounds near the area of Fort Point Street and Seaview Avenue, where they discovered the two victims suffering from stab wounds. Both were taken to the Norwalk Hospital for treatment.

The suspect, described only as a juvenile boy, was arrested at the scene and charged with first- and second-degree assault. He was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Bridgeport where he is awaiting arraignment.

According to police, the victims and the suspect knew each other. The stabbings did not appear to be random.
