3 Injured In 3-Vehicle Crash In Norwalk: Fire Department
The crash occurred on New Year's Day on Martin Luther King Drive.

NORWALK, CT — Three people were injured on New Year's Day in a three-vehicle crash on Martin Luther King Drive in Norwalk, according to Deputy Fire Chief Edward Prescott.
The crash occurred at about 4:15 p.m. near the UPS depot. Two men from a BMW sedan, and one man from a Toyota Sienna minivan suffered undisclosed injuries and were transported to Norwalk Hospital by paramedics.
"The driver of the BMW was found unconscious, when a Norwalk Firefighter on his way to work, came upon the accident," Prescott said in a statement. "He was assisted by the first arriving Police Officers in getting the driver off the embankment to the sidewalk.

"A firefighter drove the ambulance while the paramedics tended to the patient," Prescott added. "A second ambulance transported the remaining 2 patients, with non-life threatening injuries. There were no injuries in the 3rd vehicle."
The crash is under investigation by members of the Norwalk Police Department.
