$50,000 Rewards Offered In 2 Norwalk Murder Investigations: Police
Norwalk police are offering $50,000 rewards for information leading to an arrest and conviction in two murder investigations from 2006.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police said Wednesday a $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect in two murder cases from 2006.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino said Fulton Raines, 33, died June 11, 2006, after being shot at the William Moore Elks Lodge on Lexington Avenue in Norwalk around 2 a.m.
Raines was found in his vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen just before 2 a.m. and taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries, Gulino said.

On June 29, 2006, Laray Moore was shot and killed while sitting in his vehicle between buildings 11 and 12 at the Roodner Court Housing Complex in Norwalk around 11 p.m., Gulino said.
According to Gulino, Moore's homicide is believed to be retaliation for Raines' death earlier that month. A witness told police the suspect in this incident was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

Raines' death is being investigated as a homicide by the department's Cold Case Unit, and anyone with information is urged to contact the unit at 203-854-3192 or 203-854-3011.
