Back To School: Norwalk Police To Step Up Traffic Enforcement

Norwalk police will conduct additional traffic enforcement as the new school year begins this month.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police will conduct additional traffic enforcement as the new school year begins next week.

In a Facebook post, police said the extra traffic enforcement is aimed at reminding drivers to use extra caution while school is in session.

During this time, officers will enforce all traffic laws with added attention to school zones, school buses, crosswalks, distracted driving and speed, according to police.

"Help us make the roads safer for everyone, especially children, by doing your part to slow down and obeying all traffic control devices," police said on Facebook.
