From the event's announcement:
The Wall Street Theater originally opened in 1915 as the Regent Theater. At various times serving as a vaudeville house, a movie theater, dance club, and rock venue, the Wall Street Theater today has undergone an extensive renovation, including state of the art sound, lights, and digital technology. President Suzanne Cahill commented, "This theater has been an integral part of the Fairfield County community for more than a century, and we are grateful to all who have contributed to the redevelopment efforts of this important project. As we look to the future it is with great excitement and anticipation for all that is to come forth from the stage of the Wall Street Theater."
