Dick's Sporting Goods to Open New Location in Norwalk: Report
Dick's considered opening a Norwalk location after Sports Authority's bankruptcy.
NORWALK, CT — Dick's Sporting Goods will open a new store in Norwalk in the same Connecticut Avenue location that previously housed a Sports Authority, reports The Hour.
The new Norwalk store will be the fourth Dick's location in Connecticut, with other sites in Danbury, Milford and North Haven. An exact opening date was not immediately available.
Following its bankruptcy, Sports Authority closed all its stores, which prompted Dick's to consider Norwalk for a new site after the company acquired Sports Authority's assets at auction.
