Dog Suffers Heat Stroke After Being Left In 130 Degree Car: Norwalk PD
The owner of the dog has been arrested.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk woman was arrested Saturday after her dog suffered from heat stroke after being left in a 130 degree car, according to police.
Police got a report of a dog in a car on Bedford Street, according to The Hour. Police and firefighters arrived, entered the car and brought the miniature schnauzer to Norwalk Animal Hospital for treatment.
Owner Magda Zepeda, 42, of Bedford Street said she forgot the dog by accident. She was charged with cruelty to animals.

The incident wasn't the only one this year in which a dog was distressed or died after being left in a hot car.
A professor emeritus at Wesleyan University was arrested after his dog died while in a hot car during August.

A woman was also arrested in Westport after a dog was found in a 113 degree car.
