Drive Through Food Drive Collection in Westport on Sun. June 14th
Knights of Columbus hosting a food drive collection at Assumption Church for the St Philip and St Vincent DePaul Food Pantries
On Sunday, June 14, from 9:00am - 12:30pm, the Knights of Columbus will conduct a Drive Through Food Drive Collection for Food Pantries in our community that are serving hundreds of families. The Food Drive will take place in the parking lot at Assumption Church on 98 Riverside Ave in Westport.
The food drive will benefit the St Philip Church and St Vincent DePaul food pantries in Norwalk which are helping feed hundreds of families each week.
Safety is our first concern. Please stay in your vehicles and members of the Knights of Columbus will pick up your donation from the trunk or back seat of your car. Monetary donations are also accepted. Please make checks payable to Church of the Assumption and write in the memo “Food Drive”.
Food that is needed:
Small bags of rice
Small packets of pasta/macaroni
Pasta sauce
Bags of dried black beans
Canned fruit
Canned vegetables
Peanut butter
Jelly
Vienna Sausage - regular or chicken
Cereal - oatmeal or cornflakes
Powered Milk
Coffee
