DUI Charges For Stratford Man In Norwalk River Crash: Report
The crash occurred in May 2016.

NORWALK, CT — A 30-year-old Stratford man was arrested on a warrant for Driving Under the Influence Tuesday in connection with a May 2016 crash where his pickup truck careened down an embankment and rolled over into the Norwalk River, reports The Hour.
Jeffery Herrera and his passenger were treated at the hospital following the May 22 crash, after they were rescued from the river near Perry Avenue.
Herrera was additionally charged with Interfering with an Officer and Reckless Driving. His blood alcohol content was measured at the hospital at 0.28, more than three times the legal limit. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 28.
