Former Norwalk Official Accused Of Murder To Post Bond: Report
Ellen Wink, Norwalk's former Republican deputy registrar of voters charged with murdering her tenant in January, is expected to post bond.

NORWALK, CT — Ellen Wink, Norwalk's former Republican deputy registrar of voters accused of fatally shooting a tenant at one of her properties in town earlier this year, is expected to post bond this week and be released from custody, The Norwalk Hour reports.
Though a request to lower her $2.5 million bond was denied Wednesday, a judge modified the terms of Wink's release, allowing her to be released if she posts 10 percent of that amount, the Hour reports. If released, she will be on house arrest and required to wear a GPS-monitoring bracelet.
Wink, a 61-year-old Nelson Avenue resident, was arrested in January and charged with murdering Kurt Lametta, 54, a tenant at one of her properties on that same road.
